What GM would you pick to save Earth?

Aliens have landed and informed the world's leaders that Earth is slated to be demolished to make room for an intergalactic highway (sans Douglas Adams) however, they will reroute IF our greatest chess master can beat theirs in a game of chess, time 1 day. Which GM would you choose to save Earth?

Carlsen. Being hailed as the saviour of the human race would appeal to his vanity.
There's no reason for the aliens to actually reroute if they lose the game. They're going ahead with their plans anyway. I would choose Backyard Professor, as an insult to the aliens before we all die.

Kasparov, because although I don't always agree with his politics, there is no question that he cares about humanity.
Fischer, rest in peace, would be a bad choice because he'd try to make a deal with the aliens to nuke the US and abduct all the Jews.

Carlsen's nerves aren't that good either - even playing just in Norway alone was enough to make him lose his calm in the past.
