Hi everyone! My name's neyamalarguru and today I will be talking, or at least typing about FIDE ID/RATING! So, a common question for new chess learners is "What is a Fide Id?". A Fide Id is somewhat of a specific code that most chess players are assigned with. For example, gm's or grandmasters usually have a fide id that is higher than beginners, such as 2789. A beginner usually has around 1200+ worth of Fide. Play more chess games that are "Fide Rated" to increase your rating. If you don't have a Fide Rating, you can go to your region's chess association (national) to apply for one. If you aren't sure if you have one, visit the FIDE.COM website and click on the Fide Button to learn more. Hope that I helped! Good Luck!
