chessity.com and chesstempo.com are the best around, imho.

chessity.com has a wider range of problems than any other site (defend against mating attack, stop a passed pawn, and many others), and all the problems are hand-created by an IM. Many of them have very tempting moves that are wrong because of a nuance a few moves into the tactic. It's my favorite site due to the depth of the problems.

chesstempo.com is more like chess.com, only hugely superior. They have endgame tactics, the ability to define custom sets of tactics, spaced repetition of tactics, and many other features that chess.com doesn't have. Plus the developer there is actually very responsive when people suggest useful features, unlike my experience here at chess.com.

I've tried most of the websites and I prefer to train with local software and a set of hand-picked tactics.  I use the Lucas Chess software (free).  It comes with several sets of tactics that are very good.  I train them by repetition, like referenced above, which Lucas Chess handles very well with lots of options.  Highly recommended.  No rating or anything like that, but that is just a distraction anyway.  The goal should be learning the tactics, not improving a tactics rating.  I've found many of my students get distracted by their tactics rating.
