Im confused about the options for games. In live chess I see that there is a 5 min option and a 5|5 option. What is the difference? Also what does it mean by 15|10? Why are the numbers different? Noob question but thanks for the response.

The second number means the amount of time a player gets after he makes a move.
So 5|5 means that each player starts with 5minutes, and after a player makes a move he gets +5seconds.

It means that white has 15 minutes and black has 10 minutes.

What? I had always thought it meant white would get 15 elo points if he won, and black would get 10...
