ive started to play the sicilian (1. ...c5) but im not very good at it :D

That's hard to sum up, e4 is one of the most popular first moves and there are hundreds of way to deal with openings starting like that.

best advice is to take a look on Wikipedia!

e5.

Get both your knights out, your kingside bishop out, and castle.  If you can't see a good reason not to put it there, Bc5 is usually a good move for your bishop.  If that doesn't work, Bb4 and Be7 are often ok, too.

If, along the way, e5 is attacked again, defend it with d6.  If that attack never comes, see if you can get away with d5 straight away.  Afterwards, develop your queen's bishop.

That's plenty to go on if you're at the stage where you're wondering about good opening moves against e4.

The Caro-Kann defense leads to a game where black gets slow but easy equality. Here's a look at the variations.

In response to 1.e4, the GMs generally stick to 1...c5 (Sicilian), 1...e5 (leading to a variety of openings), 1...e6 (French) and 1...c6 (Caro-Kann). Other responses, such as 1...Nf6, 1...d5, 1...d6 or 1...g6 are less popular, but still considered solid.

In addition to that: I think there is no general answer to this question.

Maybe you should rephrase it to: "What is a good defense against 1.e4 for me ?"

The point is that every defense system lead to typical types of positions, mainly defined by the pawn structure. You have to find out in which type of positions you feel fine (e.g. open or locked position, tactical or calm position play).

Take typical games from a database and look if you like the position after the opening or not. Try those you like in online games.

But don´t get impatient.

It took me years to find my favorite opening- and defense systems.

I always go with e4 with white and Caro-Kann. It's very annoying with white since most white players don't see it often. On the other hand e5 is the most comon.

Note that the Caro-Kann is only the first 2 moves of black.

Try the Panov-Botvinnik attack. Quite comfortable play for White
