don't care about the tactics trainer rating and just do tactics for a long time. id just suggest doing chess tempo for hours since you dont have a chess membership. Id also suggest trying to learn some basic thought process of how people approach certain chess posistions through books, chess mentor, videos, etc.
a really easy way to gain rating points for tactics trainer is if you warm up a few tactics on chess tempo, then when you feel in the groove, go on tactics trainer

I decided to focus on some tactics training. I was doing just fine, in April I was able to hit 1190 points (don't laugh, it's pretty good start for me). Except it was all downhill from there. I'm only getting worse. I feel I got myself under pressure, and now I simply can't focus on tactics anymore. What should I do now?
