KID is the abbreviation of King's Indian Defence. One of the most popular chess opening arising from 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 g6 3.Nc3 Bg7.

'King's Indian defense is riskier for black than King's Gambit for white' - Bronstein.
Fischer did not dare to play it against Botvinnik.

The KID is a great and very ambitious opening, but at the same time extremely complex positionally, and depressively theory-heavy.

Can someone tell me what is the KID
A passive and losing opening
The best defense is attack, if you play KID opening, then you will be under pressure and need to wait for counterattack or the opponent to blunder.
I always tell the opponent that bishop is used for attack but not defense, putting the bishop in second rank in the opening is completely useless. Bro this is the god opening I won 16 times in a row

Bobby Fischer disagrees with you.
or does he who is bobby fisher is he a fisherman?

Fischer did not dare to play it against Botvinnik.
Fischer's decision to play the Gruenfeld instead of the KID against Botvinnik in that 1962 Varna Olympiad match had nothing to do with the KID's soundness. Fischer simply didn't play openings that he considered unsound. The KID was part of Fischer's regular repertoire, therefore he considered it a sound opening.
... and the decision certainly had nothing to do with a game played 35 years later.
Fischer played the Gruenfeld against Botvinnik because he tended to reserve the Gruenfeld for his attempts at "Game of the Century". Witness his game against Byrne, six years earlier.
