Logitech MX 400 is an affordable bet and used by many pro-gamers and has adjustable speed (dpi).
If you are using windows set the mouse speed in control panel to the middle setting as this corresponds 1:1 to the pixels on your screen, any higher and windows just starts skipping pixels which is inaccurate and annoying. It's also a good idea to turn off 'enchance pointer precision' checkbox, since that only adds acceleration to your movements (makes mouse movements non-linear).
I need help. I had a good mouse that was fast enough to be competitive with anyone but it wound up in Austin, Tx to be used by a friend of mine who is a student. I cannot remember the type or manufacturer. Can anyone suggest a GOOD mouse thay does not eat up so much time between the time you start a move and when it ends. My replacement was a typical made in China slow one and I would appreciate it if someone could let me know what the best mouse is for bullet chess. I have gone from a 1172 to 895 in two days using a cheap one that is now a puzzle only god could piece back togather. I have no tolerance for junk and dont mind paying a good price for quality. Having a piece of junk that will kill your rating is VERY frustrating. I sent the cheap one to mouse hell in a thousand pieces. I want my ability to be the weak link in my game not poor technology. I set the mouse for the fastest settings but it was no help. Suggestions for a fast mouse or a source of quality pc products would be appreciated. I have watched bullet games and the quality of their equipment is a big factor in their rating and I would like to know how to speed things back up. Prior to lending my good on out that is gone forever (graduation by the borrower) I beat players up to 1620. It is not possible to be competitive with junk against players with better equipment.
