This is my fastest promotion: 25 moves, also a possible 21 moves promotion

In a real game?

Yes. OTB. It's a known trap in the QGD Albin, though.

Moonwarrior_1

I had a game in rapid where I promoted in like 8 moves, was a while ago though.

prawnestant

I had one where the opponent promoted in nine

Out of curiosity, what did you play following the under-promotion

DDSalvy
The minimum seems 5 moves (not done in a game)

White's King had to go back to e1 in order to stop my Bg4+ from winning his Queen, so my next move was Qh4+, guarding the Knight on g1 (because after the reply Kd2 he cannot capture Rxg1 without dropping a Rook to Qd4+).

LearningLuminary

One thing I liked about forcing white to Ke2 is that it allows for Bg4+ that skewers the queen like you said and keeps your knight trained on e2. Either way you win material in a few turns. I feel like even though his position could've evolved and exploited a blunder really way, you trapped him so well that I'm pretty sure g1=N is resign-able to a lot of players

Out of curiosity, how strong was your opponent? I pulled it recently in an OTB tournament against a 1759 USCF.
