A family fork is where you fork a queen and the king.
What is the point of a family fork?

So, a Family fork is where you fork a queen, king, and one other piece. This is obviously a very good move, but I don't understand why it's better than just forking the queen and king, because the only piece you would get from one is a queen either way. Can someone answer? Thank you!
