I'm not FIDE rated, and my CFC (Chess Federation of Canada) rating is 30-odd years out of date. Presumably my strength has changed since then.
I have always had trouble playing Canadians for some reason.
In my experience you guys seem to play off line stuff and unorthodox openings a lot.
