What it is the best chess engine for me?

I'm probably a weak USCF Class B player or a strong USCF Class C player. I don't know too much about chess computers (other using ChessMaster 9000, a long time ago).

-I'm looking for the chess computer software that will provide the strongest or one of the strongest analysis for my games.

-I'm into openings a lot and am always looking to memorize and learn lines. So if it has features (including additional softeware that can be bought/added) which help in this regard, it is a big plus.

-I'm willing to pay up to about $100-$150, but if I can get software that is slightly weaker, but a lot cheaper, I'd go with the cheaper option.

-It helps if the software is userfriendly.

Fritz should be considered. It has plenty of resources.

Stockfish 6 is free and currently the highest rated engine. Komodo plays more human but isn't free. You will need something like fritz to use the engines. What is the name of the free gui??? arena or smth idk.

sf 6 has got 3200 plus rating so until you reach 3300 you should be fine =)

What do you mean (as far as specific features)? I was under the impression that it just lets you save/store games.
