To improve your chest, you should probably do push-ups or bench press or something like that.

To improve your chess: do tactics puzzles, learn and implement the opening principles, middle game principles, endgame principles and the very basics of endgames.

When you find out which openings you like, keep playing those and start to slowly study them as you play them, as in, after every game (especially when you lose), check where you went wrong and correct it the next time. This way you will start building an opening repertoire kind of automatically.

Not seeing treats, probably is good for improving your chest and should not have too much to do with your chess.

Not seeing threats is another thing. Lots of tactics puzzles should help with this.

Improving at chess can be quite challenging, but there are various ways to enhance your skills.

For those looking to improve without coaching, here's some valuable advice:

1. Play Frequently: The more you play, the better you'll become at recognizing patterns and making strategic decisions.
2. Analyze Your Games: Review your past games to identify mistakes and areas where you can improve. This self-analysis is a powerful learning tool.
3. Focus on Tactics: Tactics play a crucial role in chess. Spend time solving tactical puzzles and exercises to sharpen your tactical skills.
4. Learn from Masters: Studying grandmaster games can provide insights into advanced strategies and tactics.

Bench Press and dumbbell chest fly. Lie on a flat bench, gripping dumbbells in each hand.
Press the weights up above your chest, keeping them from touching, with your pinkies turned slightly inward. Maintain full body tension on the bench.
Lower your arms down moving only at your shoulders, keeping a slight elbow bend. Only go as deep as your shoulder mobility allows.
Squeeze your shoulder blades to raise the weight back up to the starting position, and emphasize the squeeze in your chest at the top.
