Usually e5, sometimes the more agressive d5. Of course Nf6, Nc6, e6, d6, b6 and g6 are playable too, but I prefer e5 or d5.
what opening do you play against e2-e4

c6 or c5, depending on my opponents rating, my mood, and if i'm playing for a must win or not. I'm thinking about learning some alekhine lines though.
I had a short spurt with the modern/pirc lines. The problem is that white may know very little theory and still have a great game against you (in my experience, anyway).
A lot of my friends swear by the scandanavian (1...d5). you should spend half an hour on theory and give it a whirl in blitz.

I feel like you can find a decent and solid counterattack in almost every line after ...e5. I'd call it the more aggressive option. After ...d5, I feel like you almost have to aim to play solid, or you get into trouble against good play.
I found that the scandinavian Qd6 is a nice solid opening. I even drew against Computer 4 impossible!!

I use dutch defense, it's like silican but you play c5 instead of f5.
Uh.... no.
