Openings should not be your concern until you reach a much higher level.

I do play 1.d3 with White, and basically 1...-d6 (Philidor Defense and Old Indian Defense) with Black. It's waaaaay enough.

Focus on scanning properly the board before each move. Begin learning Middle game and Endgame once you're about 1200. Tactics is what you calculate while playing: it's best if no one tells you is there is some available tactics: if you missed one, you'll see it during the analyse of the game.

hello i use indian defense and attack but i wanna ask is it good?

1.e4 sure has a high potential. Sadly, everybody soon knows how to neutralize each and every potential threat induced by 1.e4, and soon you'll realise that's it's hard not to find yourselmf in a difficult position against an opponent who masterizes a Defense you don't know well. A typicall example be the Scandinavian Defense, and other example is the Alekhine Defense...

Ans so, soon you end up in need to learn tons of variations against each Black Defense, and since you won't be learning chess itself because you're busy with memorizinf opening lines, you'll find yourself so often is positions you just don't understand at all.

But okay, look, have it your way, I don't care.

No, which is why I play it.

The Vienna is awesome.

And so is the Queen's Gambit.

The London is great also.

And it's only half a joke: lesser openings (not losing openings) are less played, for being less promising, hence less studied, hence less known. In the end, you find yourself with the upper hand more than in turn.

On chess.com, I've win a dozen games against players rated 2000-2200 like this:

You'll never beat a 2100 in 4 moves by playing 1.e4, lol tongue.png

The Ponziani (1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. c3) can be an interesting one. So far I've had some success with it, but it was mostly because the opponents I used it on were pretty terrible. For me, I've found that it addresses my problem of trapping my own pawns in favor of development and ending up in a position that's super duper cramped fairly well.

I also like the Scotch (1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. d4). It gives you a decent center and room to develop, and allows you to bring the queen out fast — without any of the negatives associated with it — if your opponent plays the moves a noob would likely play.
