What's your biggest losing streak?

You mean longest?

OTB I think 5. Oh well, you can't win them all.

Look at it this way.  If you know how the pieces move, youre better than billions of people.

I take blitz very seriously. Can't remember the last time I lost

Yeah, you'd have to remember the day, hour, minute, and second. Not likely to remember that.

9 consecutive LOSSES lol

I recall a time in the late '70s or early '80s when I lost in both round #1 and round #2 of five tournaments in a row. For comparison, I usually placed in the top three in nearly every local tournament. For me, at that time, starting EVERY tournament with two consecutive losses counted as a horrible losing streak.

     9 losses in a row at blitz.  Now I think that if I lose 3 games in a row, I should take a break, walk around the house for a bit, watch TV for a bit, before going back to the chessboard. 

     Playing losing game after losing  game without a break leads to a self-defeating cycle IMHO.

     Just thinking.....

     When I lose I get upset and when I get upset I don't think rationally and so it is better for me to take a break if I lose 3 games in a row.
