I am rated 600 in rapid, what should be the average puzzle rating for 400-800 rated rapid players?

I think your puzzle rating is amazing for someone in your level.

From what I have seen and experienced. If you're 500 your puzzle rating needs to be an additional 400-600 in tactics above your rating level. = 1100 or atleast 1200. So that means x2 or x 2.5... if it's 1500 your really good to go up higher if you can. Once your ready to move up. I'm speaking only for here and how I see the competition working.

If your 2000 rated then you should have tactics at 3ooo to 4ooo hopefully 4.2k at Master that Puzzle rush score better be like 42-50+ at GM should be 60+ for normal player it is around 15-20 and around 24-28 That's advanced and 29-38 your dealing with Beginner Master players. 40+? whatch out lol.  Worry about anyone within 24-26 and above puzzle rush score next to there name, they might be sand bagging or they do know stuff, so keep an eye on the board.

I hope this information finds you well.

Good luck and practice when you get a chance. Analyze your games, and scroll down and go do those custom tactics puzzles, that couch says he has training for you.

Because puzzles emphasize tactical sharpness, your average puzzle rating should be marginally higher than your actual chess rating. Aim for 1700+ in puzzles if your chess rating is 1500. But consistency is more important than rating; concentrate on correctly answering puzzles rather than merely raising rating totals.

Was this written by an AI? Another epic fail.

Puzzle rating doesn't matter as much as actually seeing the opportunity
