I think for beginner they shoul start with rapid and think in the given time

When you choose to play online, and not against bots, there are options for different speeds while playing, like bullet (but i don't really understand the times like what is 1|1), blitz (3-5 mins), rapid (10-30 mins), and daily (1-7 days). Since I am kind of a beginner, I don't know which mode is best. Which is the most popular, and which is best for a beginner like me looking to improve in a fun way (: .
