What to do when opponent does a BLUNDER ??
Pop a bottle, pop a tag, and bust a dance move.
Bust a dance move, like a damn fool.
Do the money dance, 100 racks a watch.
100 grand, tell 'em bring 'em out.
The appropriate response from your opponent after this is resignation. They can play on, but it's seen as bad sportsmanship.

Rating for black has been bumped up by almost double! lol !

I've played 2...f3 and 3...fxe5 too... and I was rated about 900 at the time too... so this seems correct.

tee hee. and for white too!

I actually get that 'defense' an astounding number of times. Opponents rated like me or a little better, up to 1200. f6 after e4 e5 Nf3. I always sac the knight, and it always develops like that, with the Black king jumping from pillar to post. The only think I have to make sure of is that I don't blunder a piece to one of the diagonals covered by Balcks Queen and it is inevitable a short game. I always tell the opponent in the chat after the game "don't ever make that mistake again. Promise?". That is one lesson I have remembered. Now if I could only remember some other ones...

What to do when opponent does a BLUNDER ??
First of all, know that he has blundered and see how and why, and for that you need good tactical ability to calculate many moves later. The same ability you need not to blunder yourself. Not taking advantage in a blunder is in itself a blunder, but all players around 1500 or less blunder all the time, and each one's blunder compensates the other's
Now, if the question was to be "What to do when you see a blunder", well the answer is quite obvious, take advantage of it.
