In a recent game I found myself in a situation in which I had the opportunity to sacrifice my queen for a knight and two rooks. I decided to go for it, but as a relatively inexperienced player it felt risky to sacrifice my queen for anything short of a forced mate.
Based on traditional points, it's a no-brainer - I'm four points up at the end of the exchange. So - is it really the right decision? Would you do the same?
It all depends on the position, but seeing as I don't know the position I assume I would trade (it's not really a sacrifice is it?) the Queen for two Rooks and a Knight.
