I do not tend to get on rolls.
What's the best way to get on a roll?

I do not tend to get on rolls.
Maybe you should try blitz or meditation. Correspondance chess is the Devil's workshop. What good can come from a form of the game where there's an analysis board and your opponents can easily cheat?

I get stressed when I play blitz and feel that I have to move quickly even though I know that I have plenty of time to think. I don't play with less than 15 minutes on the clock and I rarely have time for a 30 minutes games. Thus, online chess it is.

There's where meditation would help :-)

I don't have time for meditation in a blitz game! I'd lose on time while being bored! That's a terrible combination!
I've noticed that when I'm playing well in blitz I can win and win. When I'm not keyed in, it's hit and miss or miss and miss.
Do you tend to go on rolls? How much under your control is it? How do you prepare to get on a roll and how do you conversley wind up thwarting youself in the attempt?
