This week I searched images with mating patterns, 28. I have put them in a Word document 10 per page. Then I printed the pages and cut the images so that I have 28 cards, each with a mating pattern. Now I am trying to learn their names. And I am categorizing them in different groups.

I'd play chess against myself. Whenever one side was winning I'd back up and find a better move. If it became too equal I'd backtrack and look for. more ambitious moves. I'd burn hours upon hours on one game this way.
Nerdiest thing I've done regarding chess, hmm... I read a book once. I didn't do anything silly, like analyse the positions in it, but I did read it. What a nerd! Come to think of it, I should have beaten myself up...
Learning Knight + Bishop checkmate over and over but still forgetting it after couple weeks.
I’ve joined a game of chess then left it for 9 min 58 seconds then 2 moved someone and won
