Hi Dirtalot--sorry to say I played tournaments for a decade or so and haven't seen it either. If it's not 0-0-0 for queenside castling then maybe this page will help:

I have seen it twice after a " full analysis" with fritz 14 of one of my games *** with ____ underneath!
I'm a Chessmaster user myself, but it looks like Fritz employs some odd symbols. This guide for V13 explains them under Reference -> Commentary -> Commentary Symbols, but it still doesn't describe the one you're mentioning:
