Kartikeya: At your level knowledge of concrete opening does not matter because your games are decided by huge blunders of either you or your opponent. Stick with opening principles: Develop your pieces, fight for the centre, castle. Some more subtle opening principles: don’t move one piece several times until you capture something for free, don’t get your queen to play too early because it can be easily attacked by opponent less valuable pieces. And most important thing: don’t move your pieces to squares where opponent pieces can capture them for free.
