As a rule you only start pushing king side pawns for the attack after you have completed the development of your pieces and you control the center.
Even when attacking, you should always pay attention to possible counterattacks and make defensive moves when appropriate.
Play slowly and carefully. A slight slip may turn a won game into a lost game.

I am a 1300-1400 rated player on chess.com I really struggle with deciding the perfect moment to start pushing the king side pawns for the attack. And of course bad timing can and has resulted in me getting check mated. Do you have any recommendations for videos to watch to improve in this? Would love to get your guidance!
