Does anyone cry before a game?
right here
Crying can be masculine... It simply shows you have feelings.
You aren't allowed to say that.
If it's over something purposeful and deep -- not chess games or spilled milk, but more like over a close death or something -- sometimes I can even admire it. When I see a grown man break the rules of life and cry over something he really believes in, it sort of brings me back to earth, that there is nothing really concretely wrong with taking out a moment to cry; on the contrary, you admit to the feelings we all have that others would try desperately to hold back and keep hidden. I've seen strong guys cry.

Does that make Ni Hua the strongest player ever to be known to have cried after losing a game?

Wow... He does look depressed.
I cry before, during and after the games, wins, draws or losses, but maybe that is being overly sensitive?
The most I ever do is swear, make retarded faces, and slap my computer (if I am playing on computer).
cry,no
rage...yes.I hate it when I lose won games....the games that for the most part you've outplayed your opponent and then BAM...you make the crushing mistake and it's all over.
OK, I'm drunk enough to admit my personal experience... I was about 8 or 9 and my partner was my aunt's boyfriend who barely could plan chess. I lost to him reatepedly and I cried every time...
The funny thing is that about a year later I played him again an I marvelled at his stupid moves. In fact, I was trying to prolong the game so he wouldn't feel so bad...
Life is funny...
