I suspect he just asked like “In a game of chess with a white pawn on B1, , what is the best move for white.” And then just did whatever ChatGPT said, whether the move was legal or not. I did something a little different, which was to ask it which move from the set of legal moves (which I listed) was best, and it usually (though not always) picked a legal move. If it picked an illegal move I would play a random move. Needless to say, it does very badly….

The keyboard has arrows that can be used to control moves (Back, forward, last move, starting position) I know I wrote it late.
