I saw Duda play yesterday in the blitz. First, one day? Why only one day?
Now the rapid portion has started, and I remember Carlsen being asked how he would celebrate his win over Nepo. He said he would play in the European rapid and blitz tournament.
Was he joking? Also, where is the London Classic? They used to have that before briefly being part of the Grand Chess Tour. They usually held this event in December. No sign of that either.
If it is COVID related, couldn't they organize an online event? Anyone know about this?
