Hello, Im really rookie with chess, and Im wondering if there is any webside or program where I can check games played by GMs. I want it to check how they play some of my fav openings.

Thank you sir. Now I have another question. I usually listen pro players say that they are going to prepare something for a match. Lets say Nakamura is going to play against Vachier-Lagrave, he could look for the games of MVL to see what is he playing. I assume there must be some big data base to check that games.

I also have listened ppl saying "this move has been played 245.000 times" and white has won 55% of the times. Again, I assume they are looking into somewhere I miss.

Sorry for my bad english and thanks again for any response.

www.chessgames.com has the latest games and also historical games, so you could use it to research things, but when people are giving statistics like the number of times an opening move has been played they're usually using an expensive database called chessbase.

Doesn't it only let you go about 5 moves deep?

That's not my experience, no.

Oh, it asks me to log in but says you can create an account for free.

That's probably it... I already have a free account there.
