White only plonkers

There seem to be quite a few players here that only like to play white. They will abort games as black and refuse to give a return after playing white. Are these players a blight? Do they have any manners? Anyone that plays me as black has only to ask for a return and it is given.

! Now I know that the game sometimes be aborted just after I say "hi".

Some unsporting players here play white and abort many games with black unless their opponent is weaker according to their rating. My notes detail the culprits that I have encountered, I shall soon post it here. In short - if you play me you will always have the opportunity to play white, if you play and do not share the same values of most here you will be blocked by me and I hope many others.

I sometimes need to train in my repertoir on the black side, and I abort when I get white.

My point is that it is good manners to let your opponent play white if he / she wishes.

Interesting that some should examine my stats which proves little, instead see my notes and examine the stats of wop's listed there to see if I have a point or not.

It doesn't prove much, but is better evidence than your gut feeling. It seems to indicate that if they are doing it as white they are likely doing it as often as black: i.e. the colour has nothing to do with the fact they are aborting.

On your notes you mention a few players.  Looking at their games they're all very nearly 50% white and 50% black.

Hmm that's odd, so your post is 100% crap, I wonder what made these players stand out to you?  Lets see...

First, can you guess what the following list of players, all of whom you played only once as black, have in common?  Well for one you didn't list them on your wall of shame, but I mean other than that:

That's right you won all these games as black.

Guess what the people you listed all have in common (other than their near perfect 50% white and 50% black)... that's right, all the people you listed you lost to.  So this is just you being a plonker, naming those who didn't give you a rematch after you lost.  And given your behavior here, it's not hard for me to imagine why they declined.

I appreciate that actually, I've been thinking how best to run away for a while, the forum is addicting it seems.

I did pay at one point to play here, the the wop trend and players that in a totally lost position drag games out made me question the wisdom of this - so I put it on hold. This site holds some excellent training tools that have to be worth the dosh if one is serious about improving.

Ok no reply from Estragon though he has seen my question. An interesting attempt to define for me what I am or am not Estragon. What exactly is it in you that made you wish to attempt this? Did you take into account my ongoing assessment of whether I should subscribe? I'm pretty sure that you did not.

That those that cannot afford to subscribe can play chess here is a very fine thing. Were those that cannot afford to subscribe given access to the sites training features other than 3 problems a day it would be even finer.
