Who (e.g., players, media) called Bobby Fischer "Fish" or Bobby "Fish"?

indeed. Weird. As an All-time fanboy, I've never heard anyone call him that (to his face). But if you're saying, "in reference to him", then I can say I've personally haven't heard such a thing. Just "Bobby".😎

(actually, the ONLY "Fish" I knew back in the day was Derek Fisher of the Los Angeles Lakers!) ✌🏼

I know I have heard Fischer refer to someone as a fish but had no idea where he came up with it and have actually used the term myself down through the years.  I know nothing about poker but that is apparently where he got that term.
