Some impressive scalps there!
Yes, Hikaru is quite resourceful. He has a knack for changing the position in a way that makes it look easy (when seeing from his POV). When watching from the other side of the board, though, his moves (and speed) resemble an engine.
I actually wasn't aware that his fans were known for that. A shame. Though I suppose it's not surprising.
Now all you need is to be featured on a Magnus video, and you'll earn a GM norm by default.
He had your number in the first two games, unfortunately. (I imagine these queen-sac games can be quite tricky to manage in bullet, due to how unusual they are.)
When I got matched with him I expected to crush him easily. I honestly couldn't believe how hard it was to beat him. Even down a queen for a piece and pawn (so 5 points of material) he somehow found ways to cause me all sorts of problems.
I've beaten Hansen, Bortnyk, Erigaisi and a bunch of other 3000+ monsters, but Naka's power was on completely another level.
In blitz or rapid it probably would have been a different story, but with only 60 seconds on the clock, playing against an opponent who is moving instantly and has absolutely no respect for me, it is a terrifying combination.
By the way, after that video went up, I got a few messages from Naka's fans calling me a cheater, stream sniper etc. which supports the well-known rumor that whenever Naka loses his fans will harass the person who beats him.
