Who is better, Magnus Carlsen or Babe Ruth?

Since Babe Ruth is widely considered the greatest baseball player who ever lived, Magnus Carlsen would have to be the greatest chess player who ever lived (or be widely considered as such) for an analogy to make any sense. Since Carlsen just won the World Championship, such recognition is premature. Come back in 10 years to revisit the issue. If Carlsen loses the championship in the meanwhile, we may be talking about the next guy.

I'd have to go with the Babe since he could also have been an HOF pitcher, and because he did everything drunk off his ass!

I have never eaten a Magnus Carlsen candybar. But it would be hard to imagine it being better than a Baby Ruth.
