Who is The Smartest Person in The World?

Christopher Langan. Christopher Michael Langan has a verified IQ of 195.Christopher Langan is an American autodidact with an IQ reported to be between 195 and 210. He has been described as “the smartest man in America” as well as “the smartest man in the world” by the media.

I dun think Chris thinks he's the "Smartest Man in The World". Perhaps he is among them, but he is also well known for being unable to prove the existence of God. Perhaps Abdesselam Jolloul if you're interested in iq.

It's about time.

Einstein was only 156, but he was also very persistent and Iq wasn't very accurate back then
If he lived now he would have been much smarter...just like Fischer and Carlsen...

I think a girl who has a more IQ then Einstein and hawking for sure

circa 1960-65, so the story goes...they gave my step grandfather, Steve Anson Coons, an early form of i.q. test as he was an engineering professor at MIT and the smartest dude they knew at the time. The test was being developed at MIT and they needed somebody at the high end....but he was too far off their scale and all they could determine was that it was over 200. There is still a bi-annual award at MIT in his name:
