Not an overly good topic though is it?!

If you want to discuss something, create a topic about that something.  Otherwise the topic itself is doomed.

yeah borg,i forgot to ask you this.

you said before that chess is 99 percent tactics right?.

so in the movie independence day,the analogy of the alien craft attack is like a chess game right?

so my question is ''why they called it strategically position in the movie independence day instead of tactically position?.

ill wait again to your response borg.

LOL akintews, but except the words ''tactically position''.Wink

but seriously deja vu always happening all the time to me.

sometimes i went to this place, and i stop and think, because i think i been here in this place before.i think if we are sleeping, our mind is like a time machine that can travel into the future.

its bad, because eebster dont want to come here, because i want to ask him if he believed in ''time machine.Cry

Do you expect to click on something and watch a movie of all my games or what?

Once you do as I suggested you will be able to click on the VIEW button for any game you want to look at.

something like that borg.

i already did that borg, and i already click on the VIEW button, but its still i cannot watch your games.

Why what happens after you click on VIEW?  You get to see the game but you have to use the move navigation buttons.

There is no way to magically play all my games.

i already click the VIEW borg, but nothings happen.

ok,let me straight up this borg,if i move the navigation button, where i gonna put it?.ill wait again borg.

kco

unless he is talking about live chess in which atm you can't view it.

BorgQueen wrote:

So when you click on VIEW next to one of my games in my games list, a game doesn't appear?

The navigation buttons allow you to play through the game one move at a time... or 5 moves at a time, or go to 1st move or go to last move.

forget it borg.

at least i already watch your bishop commander game borg.

BorgQueen wrote:

Just as I have said.  When I click on VIEW it takes me to the game where I can navigate through it.

but you said in your 82 post that the game will doesn't appear borg.Frown

and i dont want to play through the game one move at a time or 5 moves at a time and etc....Undecided

i just want to watch your games before, like i already watched your bishop commander game.Smile

No I didn't... that was a question, not a statement.  Hence the question mark.

And I have no idea how to "watch games".  I only know how to play through a game one move at a time.  I didn't even know it was possible.

ok,lets forget about this topic then.

i have a new question borg,i have a friend there in U.S.A,so i want to know if he is playing a chess too in this website.

so do i have to put his whole name into the search box of this website?.

hi borg i have 2 questions for you.

1.could you continue to answer my question in my post 93?.

2.you said before that bobby fisher is much superior than garry kasparov right?.so my question is,how come when i search their elo ratings and i find out that fisher has only 2785 elo rating than kasparov that has a higher elo rating of 2851?.Frown

1.  Go to the member link (http://www.chess.com/members/view/MemberName) or search for it in MEMBERS -► Seach Members.

2.  I don't remember saying that BF was much superior to GK.  However BF disappeared, which would have stopped his rating from climbing... right?

1.thanks borg.Smile

2.yeah i think your right borg,so is this mean that GK is lucky because BF has disappeared?.ill wait again to your response borg.Undecided

BorgQueen wrote:

Or Fischer is lucky that they never played?!  Who knows which of the two would dominate?

of course BF the superior borg, what do you think?.Cool

BorgQueen wrote:

I wouldn't like to speculate on that... really.  Perhaps I might speculate a little... that BF was a better tactician while GK better at positional play... but I'm sure both would argue against such a theory.

if you know their storys, maybe you are right borg.

i still have a question on this, but i have to find out first what is the most superior player ''a tactician player or a positional player?.

and let me guess it borg,i think positional player is much superior than tactician player,so am i right or wrong borg?.ill wait again borg.

Depends on the game.  If it is a highly tactical game, then positional skills don't help all that much and if it is a highly positional game, tactical skills don't help all that much either, but they help more than the the first scenario.

thanks borg.

so what do you  mean ''but they help more than the first scenario''?.Frown

now i know that tactical player is much better that positional player.

i forgot to ask you this borg,is positional game is like a strategically positioning your pieces?.

Well if you had a tactically brilliant player who sucks at positional play and matched them up to a positionally brilliant player who sucks at tactics and my prediction would be that the tactician will win every time.

Yes, positional play and strategic positioning are the same thing... at least in chess they are.

LOL your example borg.

but think you are really right borg, thank you anyway.

hi borg i have a two questions to you again.

1.i think akintews have a point in his 106 post borg,i mean it is a strategic air command so it should drop a strategic nukes not a tactical nukes right?. so could you answer his question?.

2.i read your profile, and i find out that you are a software developer.i watch the movie terminator 3,and the leading actor said that the skynet(a virus in a computer) are in the software that already scatterd around the world and cannot be shotdown.so my question is ''is it true that it cannot be shotdown if the virus are already put in the software and you send it already around the world''?.Frown
