Hello everyone. I'm new here and just saw that there is another free chess site (lichess) that has all the options you have to pay for here. Do you think it's worth buying a premium?

People evidently do play some chess over at lichess. However, their members seem to spend most of their time here announcing that it is free over there.

Why do they do this? I do not know.

Perhaps it is because they are lonely.

At any rate, I had a premium account for many years before I became a mod. The charge seems small in relation to what you get. I am lucky enough to afford to spend the price of a couple of cups of coffee per month on chess without breaking the bank.

lichess is better at pushing players to play slowly and more slowly and....while chessdotcom insists in their rapid blitz bullet light speed chess!! anyway here you can lie yourself to be a real master. there are no lies only strong players with big hole weaknesses somewhere!!

why to eat at a restaurant when you can cook three egg puzzles at chess.com!!??
