Why don't we get any achievement awards now for bots?

Greetings Chess.com community,

I've been an active participant in the monthly bot challenges on Chess.com, and I couldn't help but wonder why we don't receive any achievement awards for our efforts. The diversity and complexity of the bots provide a unique and challenging experience, and it seems like a great opportunity to recognize and reward players who engage in these monthly encounters.

Has the idea of introducing achievement awards for monthly bot challenges been considered? I believe it could add an extra layer of motivation and excitement for players, making the experience even more enjoyable. I'd love to hear the community's thoughts on this matter and discuss the potential benefits it could bring to our Chess.com experience.

Looking forward to your insights and opinions!

What a good question!

I believe it would make keeping track of achievements much to hard. There already 140 or something, and adding 5 on every month would make it much harder to keep track of grinding, especially for people that grind for every achievement. If this was to be ever a thing it would need to be in a separate page

How do you mean 'much too hard'? For the developers or the users? I don't know what angle you're coming from 😀

I'm coming from the angle of the achievement community. Think of it this way, 5 achievements for beating new bots every month, times that by 12 is 60. Then times that by however many years. Theoreticaly if someone is aiming to get every achievement on chess.com that means they need to be active at least 1 time every month.

Apart from the fact if they make this a permanent feature, I chess.com is only up for 10 more years, thats 600 achievements that will clog up the page.

I'm all for it, but if chess.com ever will make this a thing, it will need to be in a separate area from the normal achievements.

I agree 100%, or they could have an achievement for the no. of times you defeat all the monthly bots.
