why is this game so hard?

Will practice make perfect? I say no because we are humans so don’t be too hard on yourself when you make mistakes and blunders. With that said, one of my main goals in chess is always to make accurate moves.
Spoiler alert, your opponents will only get harder.
It all depends what your goals are. If you want to just bust out moves and have fun, there’s nothing wrong with that.
If you are fairly serious in improving for the long term, it will require a plan and hard work.

Practice makes *permanent*. If you make sure you're playing careful chess (checking everything that changes due to your proposed move or your opponent's move - checks/captures/threats), you'll improve with time, as a beginner. It can also help to identify your weak points and focus on one of them consciously for a few games - this can help to build a habit that you're missing.

for me its an easy game
Well you’re only at 2000 blitz rating, come back when you’re around 2900 and in the 100th percentile

Chess isn't easy.
+1
For you it is. Smh
Lmao it’s not easy at any level. You know that feeling when your eyes get all puffy from staring at a computer for too long? Surprise surprise, turns out that playing games in that state really tanks your rating

Not for me. that used to happen to my eyes, but they're so used to it by now.
Remember how I said I zoned out for a few hours and gained 70 points?

deal
I get so nervous that even though I rate at 1,200 in tactics I'm afraid to play a live person and playing bots is boring. How do you get over that. See a shrink?
