Why nobody plays chess 960?

On another note: I just don’t like it personally, (probably cause I’m bad at it)

I am not saying that EVERYONE is playing to look smart but if its for the strategy or tactics or the discovery of new moved then whats better than chess 960? So why is it that only a really small amount of people play 960?

+ and there it is.. You know why you are bad at chess 960? because you cant play from memory and then feel smaart.

it wont show you the BEST moves because even in classical chess the bots dont calculate everything.. People have uploaded books of openings and games in them to improve them. There are no openings for 960 so the bot cannot calculate as well as in classical

1. I dont care for 960.
2. Im not anywhere good enough that i need to play 960.
3. Openings dont decide my games.
I have a hard enough time playing regular chess. I dont need to play a variant thinking that somehow openings are dictating my games.

That would be the 99.98%

That would be the 99.98%
I don't think so
Is your answer:
You dont find chess difficult?
Or...
You dont find chess difficult at your level?

who is letterman?
i refer you to thread entitled ".i hate chess and here is why.." in "General Chess Discussions" especially #24

Its not anti cheat, you can just insert any position in chessbase 15
Considering the % of draws is so high in classical chess 960 is the future of chess." The times they are a changin'"......................

Its not anti cheat, you can just insert any position in chessbase 15
like i said. The strength of the bots you see on classic chess is only that high because they have added all the books and opening variations to reduce the time it takes them to play a move. I am a programmer and i have made my own chess bot for uni so i know how they work. Even if you put the positions in the machine the machine will not show you the best possible moves as it cannot calculate all the moves and possible scenarios.
