Indian black people are very intelligent and nerdy towards chess.
Why only 3 black grandmasters, none of which are American?

Interesting, I have never met any Afro-Indians
India is to be honest, a mild racist country to the African black people and therefore hardly any black people immigrated to India. Also India don't give citizenship to foreign people except people from English Christian School or maybe a few others that i don't know.

Oh no, theyre not American, so they must be rubbish ;) And i would say Sweden is at least as "privileged" as America.
Umm...Sweden is NOT a nice place to live.

So they give citizenship only to those who don't want it?
Tibetan people are thankful to India for giving them citizenship for those who are born and raised in India but that is not the case with Bangladeshi or Pakistani people where they are been treated as refugee
Who cares? If there were no grandmasters with dark skin, then whoopydoo. If every grandmaster had dark skin, then whoopydoo.
Collectivism, including nationalism and racial/ethnic nationalism (which are also forms of collectivism), is a disease of the mind. Being born on this side of an imaginary border = good. The other side of the imaginary border = bad. If you have this skin tone = good. Another skin tone = bad. What's next - let's count the grandmasters with blue eyes, then count the grandmasters under 5'10". My people - my beloved people - those with a left arm slightly longer than the right - are underrepresented. We need action!
Who gives a shit which genetic traits are more frequent? There's only one of YOU. Stop being a tool. Collectivism is fallacious - the playground of dimwits, insufferables.

I guess he isn't black enough huh.... Some people need their eyes checked.
I disagree with the OP about the usa not having a Black GM. Which country does Maurice Ashley play chess for?

Contribution to what ? This topic ? You joking ?

Its a good question. I believe in the future there will be more black GMs, I play many talented black players and some them are very strong masters. I was very fortunate to play blitz with FM Steve Booth, the lie is there is no chess culture among the black community and there is rich chess culture among blacks. Go to any park, chess club or coffee house and there is talented black players.

These black masters could be the future GMs.
Grandmaster in training.
However, these two titans, along with numerous other black chess masters, constitute a large stable of highly distinguished mavens of the game. Coming to mind are Morris Giles (FM), Irvin Middleton (FM), Ron Simpson (SM), Willie Morrison (SM), Greg Acholonu (SM), Ron Buckmeyer (SM), Norm Rogers (FM), Steve Booth, and George Umezinwa, to name but a few.

Here's Pontus Carlsson...
He is of Colombian origin, adopted by Swedes when he was less than 1 y.o.
If he is "black", then what about the other Latino GM's?
Whatever makes you think being Colombian excludes him from being black?
Black people are known more for their brawn...just see the olympics
Northern Europeans and Slavs are known for their brawn. Blacks are known for their speed and quickness.
But there are always exceptions. People should be judged according to their individual merits. To do otherwise is foolish.

Have you lived there? Ive lived in both US and Sweden. And Sweden, last I heard, is one of the most developed countries in the world and has ranked above the US in many indexes ive seen for various measures of development. Swedes also rank among the "happiest" people in the world.
My first guess is that he's alluding to the "Islamification" of Sweden and their perceived inability to do anything about that - being hamstrung by leftist imposed newspeak. I'm not saying it's wrong or right. It's just when people badmouth Sweden that is usually the line of thought that comes after.
However, compared to America, this argument would make no sense because America is overridden with it's own ghettos and immigration problems - far, far worse than anything seen in Europe. It's only going to get worse, too, because Americans elected a bombastic braggart who they thought would fix it but turns out is only interested in lining the pockets of billionaires and taking away people's healthcare. America is not a great place to be right now.
All pain and no gain?
