Why Sicillian is so annoying for me and maybe other people
It might be of interest to look at Starting Out: The Sicilian, 2nd Edition by GM John Emms.

I had trouble with it at first. Then my coach helped me. I think you should study it in more depth (to play against it) and then you wont be losing to it all the time.
actually, the only reason I find it annoying is because there are so many lines, for example, the schewaningian, is a very sharp opening and if you make one mistake, the game might as well be over.

scheveningen is never played these days because of the Keres attack. White gets a very strong initiative. only people like kasparov can play it.

Against the najdorf, play the sharp 6. Bg5 line or the English attack. Against the Dragon, just win with the Yugoslav attack. Fischer remarks 'The white attack just plays itself. I was going through several issues of the Schachmaty Bulletin when the Yugoslav attack was just making its first appearance and the score was something like 92% in White's favor.' Against Scheveningen just play the Keres attack. Against the classical sicilian play the Richter Rauzer or Sozin.
"... There is no doubt in my mind that if you really want to test the Sicilian then you have to play the main lines of the Open Sicilian. The problem is that there are just so many of them ... and keeping up with developments in all of them is a substantial task. ... as you become older, with other demands on your time (family, job, etc.) then it becomes more and more difficult to keep up with everything. At this stage it may make sense to reduce your theoretical overhead by adopting one of the 'lesser' lines against the Sicilian: 2 c3, or the Closed Sicilian, or lines with Bb5. ..." - GM John Nunn in part of a 2005 book where he discussed a 1994 game in which he had played 2 c3.
