Also Russian players will probably be banned from international tournaments. (That's unfair, because Russian players shouldn't be held to blame for what One Russian, Putin, is doing.)
The same thing happened at the Wimbledon, players being banned for the crime of being Russian. The sporting spirit begs to differ.
Is every Russian a psychopath?
The answer is, no. Even at their worst moments, Russians look like this:

Let's hope the same thing doesn't happen in the chess world. Banning Russia from competitive chess would be like banning Mikhail Tal from playing in the Tal memorial.
