I wasn't talking about what he did in the past. When I say he won't get withing 30 points of it, I mean from today on.
Well, he is now 35 points shy of 2 900, so he needs 5 points more to prove you wrong. He had a pretty good tournament, so perhaps he already proved you wrong. 
I am not sure though, we will have to wait for a few days to see FIDE list.
He only won 3 points with the whole Tata Steel. That's part of the problem. He's so higher rated than the others, that he needs no beat everyone to get a significant rating change... but beating everyone isn't easy. Sure, it happens, but not everyday. And he can't even drawn, because drawing makes him lose points. I don't want to say that is impossible for him... but it's very unlikely.

Why would he wanna do that? He has the highest rating on the world, 2900 is just a number.. not a goal. there is nothing special with a rounded number. Whats the difference between 2900 and 2912 or 2888 for him?
There is no upper title, there is no one to catch.. I don't think he really cares..

If Magnus is Confident(Not Over Confident), He will Definitely reach 2900.

No, I think he does care, because 2900 would be an insane mark, but you made a good point. Rembemer when he said that the World Champion title was becoming meaningless to him? I think he set the goal of 2900 to get rid of this feeling from him, because of course, he loves chess.

He said, himself, that 2900 is his goal. It's what he's trying to achieve.

you know 😄they are also talking sh*t about it like what are you saying right now when he was in 2700 they said that's impossible but now look he is the most highest rated player in the world.
