Will Wesley So be unbeaten for more games than Mikail Tals longest streak

He's been lucky not to lose several games in his streak.
And he will never be World Champion.

His play is a mystery to me. He can definitely dethrone Magnus - but first he has to get to the candidates and win that. The possibility is definitely there.

It's not impossible, but it will be very, very tough for Wesley So to break the longer of Mikhail Tal's  undefeated streaks (95) because Wesley's games have been and will be mostly against elite players in elite-level tournaments. If he goes thru Gashimov Memorial, Altibox Norway, Torneo Magistral de Ajedrez Ciudad de Leon and Sinquefield Cup undefeated, it will be one really for the record books. Of all these tourneys, the biggest test will be Altibox Norway, where all of the Top 10 FIDE players will play.

For some reason I agree with urk and solskytz Magnus will probably crush Wesley pretty soon but it would be amazing if he survived to 100 games with no losses.
