Win/Lose "streaks"

Does anybody else enjoy/suffer unaccountable streaks of wins/ losses? I regularly lose, say, 7/10 whilst maybe drawing 1, after which for no obvious reason enjoy a similar winning streak! I don't think I'm playing any differently. Maybe its to do with confidence? My Rapid rating hovers around 1100 - 1150. I'd be interested if others experience these streaks and if so why do you think it happens? 

I get streaks like that in blitz. I believe a part of it is psychological and the other part is based on time controls. Faster games are more streaky because of emotional transitions. For instance, if something is bothering you for two hours during a 60+0 game, you can shake it off and be ready for your next game. But if something is bothering you for two hours during 3+0 games, well, you can lose a lot of games during that two hour span.
