If you haven't read it yet, now is the time. I actually got this book a little while ago and have already gone over it a few times. Yesterday, however, I felt the need to refresh my understanding of the various themes in the book itself. It was a good idea, because now I have realized again why the book interested me so much the first time! It's packed with a lot of material on checkmating attacks, how to effectively execute the combinations, when the conditions are just right, and how to break almost every defense.
I would recommend that every attacking player puts this in their arsenal. It's astounding how effective sacrifices really are. I used to be a very positionally minded player, but after reading this book I'm finding more and more opportunities to attack and I just can't pass them by in my games. Of course, the diagrams in the book are excellent, and everything is explained clearly and simply. A must for all us combinative guys!
