Quite the "double standard" by mods. It's ok to promote chess.com over lichess, but dare say lichess is better and get yourself nuked. Present trend continues, by the end of the year more people will be playing there than here.

I'm ok with that.  It is their site so they allow what they want!

That's the spirit ! To hell with internet freedom of expression. Censor anything and everything you don't like/agree with ! After all, just because it's in the public domain, they own the site and can refuse service to ANYBODY who disagrees.

ToA states it is against policy to make comparisons of sites, which was done by the OP and friend in the 2nd and 3rd posts. There is no issue with mentioning another site, but not in the context of advertisement or comparisons. I simply pointed out this "rule" is a one way street. It appears to be fine to say chess.com is better than X... that X sucks but members get muted for doing the opposite.
