Won auto-rematch - no trophies awarded

Hi all,

I've read the info at the link below and according to the rules, when a random opponent invited me to a rematch immediately after our first (randomly-matched) game ended, trophies should have been awarded upon winning. They weren't, however. I will say that after the second game the opponent sent me a friend request which I accepted. Perhaps this caused a problem? I've searched the forum and haven't seen an answer to this particular issue.

Win, lose, or draw;  when the game is ended, immediately (and I mean IMMEDIATELY), before you do anything else, see the three dots beside the emoji of your opponent and click on those three dots.  A display will appear with several trophies.  There are even several pages of various.  Click on the one you wish to award. SEND it!  Done!  Then you can do whatever else you wish to do.  If you wish to send a trophy it is always the first thing  after the conclusion of the game.

The only thing I can think of is that your games have to be on the Play server, not the Live server.
