I saw that now many organizations are moving online to make tournaments... unfortunately they are full of "cheaters." The latest example is The World Mind Games tournament in which 32 people were disqualified for cheating, and one was a titled player!
A friend of mine cheated for seeing if it works, on ICC not here, and it works also there, nobody is really checking.
The same for playchess, and FIDE arena.
What I cannot understand is why, they cannot really make some anti-cheating programs. Because if 32 were caught, likely there are other 32 who weren't.
I know chess.com is scared of speaking about cheating, but it is out of the closet, since also in Chess Life, and Chessbase there are many articles discussing it.
I also don't understand how they repay those who were damaged by cheating. Because in the case of the world mind games tournament, those who lost to a cheater haven't been given back the rating, or a month of enjoying chess.com for free, and maybe their morale was damaged by such games.
And maybe it is time now to speak how someone who got cheated, should get something in exchange for losing games, and self-esteem.
