Worst Possible Move?

The worst possible move is the one that loses the game for you. If you don't know what you're doing there are plenty of "best" openings you can go wrong with and there are plenty of unsound and barely sound openings that are still used by players counting on their opponents ignorance of them.
ECO A00 has the dregs de la dregs of openings:

Oops, I forgot about b8 like you said. :)
[I would define the worst possible move to be the (unique) move that leads to the worst result in the fewest number of moves, with best play after this move. Is this sensible?]

This position, constructed by Sampsa Lahtonen, houses the worst move possible in a legal game of chess.
White has 52 legal moves. 51 of them are mate in one, and the 52nd, well, it sucks. :)

when posting puzzles it helps if we are told which way the pieces are playing.

What do you mean by that?
Hi everybody,
This is a thread where we try to find the worst possible legal move in different positions. I'll post the first position, and anyone else can feel free to post a position that you like.
So here's the first diagram, a pretty straightforward position:
What's the worst move you can possible make here?
